Mamma mia! More great international competitors join Safari 2011

We welcome our first Italian competitor for several years to Safari 2011 - professional rally racer & moto journalist Manuel Lucchese.Manuel is an experienced and skilled moto rally competitor who regularly contributes to the Italian off-road electronic and print media.
This will be Manuel’s first visit to Australia. Fluent in both English and Spanish and with a huge fan base and readership in Italy, 22-year-old Manuel will give the inside view of the Australasian Safari to Italian rally and off-road racing fans with his daily blog updates.
Currently the top Italian racer in the world, Manuel ranked fifth in the overall standings of the 2011 Cross Country Rally World 450cc Championship after three rounds.
Manuel is a young, talented and fast rider with multiple Italian and EU motorally, cross country and MX championships under his belt.
Manuel is a sponsored rider racing under the Team R-Factory supported by Husaberg Europe.
Riding with the Husaberg Rallye Racing team on a 2011 Husaberg FE450 Manuel is aiming for the 2011 Safari M2.2 450 class Production category title win.
