Excitement builds -- international competitors meet

On the eve of the Australasian Safari, our international competitors came together with the event’s top moto, quad and auto drivers and riders, most meeting face to face for the first time. With their vehicles on display excitement was building, as the competitors eager for the racing to get underway.
Australian V8 Supercar legend Craig Lowndes was joined by 2010 Quad Champion Paul Smith, national off-road champion Ben Grabham, Swedish rally princess Annie Seel, Italian off road racer Manuel Lucchese and Dakar champion Frenchmen Cyril Despres. (L-R)
The Australasian Safari takes off on Friday (23 September) for a Prologue Day in Geraldton, before competitors race 4000km to Kalgoorlie on Friday 30 September.
